In just five days, my honey and I are headed to Honolulu! It’s her very first time and I want to make sure that we both have such an amazing vacation. We’ve decided on staying on Oahu, and not renting a car. There’s a couple places that I definitely want to take her- Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, and (obviously!) the beach. But other than that, I have no idea what we should do. I need help! Any affordable suggestions of must-see things to do or places to go in Honolulu. We don’t mind taking public transportation , or Uber/Lyft, and I’m thinking of renting mopeds for a day! If you have any ideas of what we should do, let me know!
If you’ve been keeping up with my posts, you have probably seen that I’ve taken a few trips to Hawaii the past few months. And I’m lucky. I’m so lucky to have a job that sends me to one of the most beautiful places in the world. But I’m normally only there for 24 hours. It’s so hard to leave every time. But thank goodness, my fiancé (still so excited I get to use that word now!) and I are taking a vacation in January. And I’m taking her to Hawaii! We’re planning on staying a week out there, and I just can’t decide on which island to take her to. Any suggestions??
While strolling the beaches of Princeville on the island on Kauai, I stumbled (literally, I tripped in the sand) on this little resting place. How cute is it?!
Not that you can tell from this picture, but I ended up with my dress soaked and my butt may or may not have landed in the sand. Whoops!
Absolutely love this picture! But little do you know, we had to hike down this crazy little path that we probably shouldn’t have. Imagine me, in a short little dress and flip flops, trying to hold my camera in one hand and climbing through the weeds just to get to this view. But man was it worth it. The water was so cold but perfectly clear. If you ever get a chance, make sure to visit Rainbow Falls!
